A future that is not sustainable is no future. America is like the Titanic, huge and unsinkable, and yet headed in the wrong (unsustainable) direction. We must commit ourselves and our country to a sustainable future. If we act now, the course correction can be made with little pain. If we wait, the consequence will be disasterous. Our society requires a constant flow of energy for transportation, business, home, and agriculture. The United States must seek each year to increase its renewable energy sources. ——Your local utility should offer a green power option where you pay for a portion of your power to be generated from renewable sources. It's a place to start.
